These certifications set us apart in the optical world because they aren’t handed out lightly. They mean that our Finish Department has been expertly trained to handle specific frames with the care, accuracy, and precision they demand.

As Aaron, a Team Lead in our Finish Department, explains: “Being certified means that we’ve demonstrated that we have the capabilities to accurately make lenses and use the proper techniques to put those lenses into a frame. We’ve shown these manufacturers that we have the technical expertise and skill to properly handle more difficult frames.”

It takes rigorous training, hands-on testing, and continuous recertification to prove that we’re not just skilled once – we’re consistently performing at the highest level. Aaron puts it best: “We have demonstrated to the manufacturer repeatedly that we’re comfortable handling their product, that we’re skilled at handling their product; and the customers that are trusting us with these products should feel comfortable knowing that we are experts in the field.” 

But our partnerships with frame brands go far beyond the certifications. They give us direct access to parts and tools that most Labs don’t have. Aaron puts it plainly: “Being intertwined with other companies in the industry allows us access to supplies, technologies, and insights.” That means faster solutions, exclusive repair abilities, and the reassurance that when an Eye Care professional trusts us with their order, we have the skills and resources to deliver, especially because our team includes several ABO-certified craftsmen.
