What Do You Do For Cherry Optical, Inc?

I am the Customer Service Manager. I oversee all things regarding our customer service area which includes assisting/editing all incoming orders, helping opticians as well as my fellow co-workers troubleshoot, all while answering incoming phone calls and making the expediting of jobs a top priority.

Why Is The Position The Right Fit For You?

I have several years of experience working alongside optometrists in an office setting. That time provided me with a strong background in the dispensing area of optics. My current position gives me the knowledge and ability to effectively troubleshoot from an optician’s standpoint.

How Would You Describe The Culture At Cherry Optical, Inc?

Cherry is a close-knit office, which feels like a second family. I truly enjoy coming to work. I feel comfortable raising questions or concerns with anyone in our building and participating in the occasional round of fetch with Pause, our office pup. What Makes Cherry Optical, Inc Different From Other Optical Laboratories?

I think our high standards for product quality and customer service make us unique. Our customer service team members are well educated, upbeat, and always ready to assist our callers. I truly feel our employees are what set us apart from other laboratories.

What Are Your Biggest Challenges In Your Position?

We spend so much time together, both in and outside of work; it is easy for me to consider my co-workers my friends. Anyone who has experienced this knows this situation can prove to be difficult when maintaining a management position. Therefore, I strive for excellence both from my team and myself and work hard to not allow those friendships affect productivity.

What Do Enjoy Doing In Your Spare Time?

I absolutely love to travel. I was lucky enough to take a cruise through Bermuda last June and this year I am heading out again to explore Grand Turk in October! What Is Your Weapon Of Choice For The Impending Zombie Apocalypse?

I’d choose to surpass the weapon option and go straight for a super power. I would like to be invisible and watch the impending doom. That seems like a pleasant way to spend an evening.
